By accessing or using RivalScraper ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Service Description

RivalScraper is an AI-powered competitive intelligence platform for e-commerce businesses. The Service monitors publicly available data from competitor websites — including product listings, prices, and other publicly displayed information — and provides automated analysis, alerts, and AI-generated briefs to help users make informed business decisions.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense data obtained through the Service without prior written consent.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service beyond the provided API and interface.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.

5. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

All services and data provided by RivalScraper are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data collected from third-party websites. Competitor websites may change their structure, restrict access, or display different information to different visitors. Users should independently verify all data with the original sources before making business decisions. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to these limitations.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and documentation, is the intellectual property of RivalScraper. You retain ownership of data you submit to the Service (e.g., competitor URLs, account information). We retain ownership of all aggregated and anonymized data, AI-generated insights, and platform improvements derived from Service usage.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your current plan until the end of the billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RivalScraper and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
