Current technical evidence
As of 15 July 2026, a manually reviewed corpus contains 117 product and variant observations across 12 exact Shopify products in EUR, GBP, and USD. The current preflight matched all 12 product-level expectations.
This is a selected technical test set, not proof of broad store coverage or buyer demand. In a separate mixed-store benchmark, only 6 of 16 Shopify stores produced an accepted exact result. Buyer-selected URLs remain the next test.

What is competitor price tracking?
Competitor price tracking compares the displayed price of the same competitor product over time. A useful monitor must identify the exact product, preserve its currency and stock evidence, and show failures instead of turning uncertain data into an alert.
Which stores does RivalScraper support?
The current focused product accepts exact public Shopify product pages only when its compatibility check can verify usable price and store-reported stock evidence. Store pages, collection pages, marketplaces, blocked pages, and ambiguous products are rejected.
Can RivalScraper monitor every Shopify store?
No. Some Shopify stores block required public routes or do not provide enough coherent evidence. RivalScraper names those limits rather than claiming universal coverage.
Can I start a free monitored trial?
The free read-only compatibility check is open. If the exact product is compatible, you can request a place in the monitored pilot. Monitoring remains closed until the seven-day reliability canary passes.
